Nine Carroll County libraries have purchased access to a terrific Career Development database called Career Cruising. This database, packed with information, is a comprehensive career guide that people from 6th grade to adulthood will truly enjoy using. It is designed for individual, self-directed use. You will need the password required for online access – just call at 323-8510 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org. The user-friendly interface helps users satisfy five key career guidance needs: self-assessment, career exploration, post-secondary education planning, work search, and portfolio development.

Personalized portfolio development which allows you to keep all information about your personal job search in one place, including assessment results, your online links, and a log of your job search.
The Career Cruising database is available to patrons of the following Carroll County libraries: Conway Public Library, North Conway Public Library, Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth, Effingham Public Library, Freedom Public Library, Jackson Public Library, Madison Library, Moultonborough Public Library, Wolfeboro Public Library.
