Tamworth's Oral History Project

In the 1970s and 80s, an oral history project recorded a number of local people of advanced age reminiscing about early days in Tamworth, between the turn of the century and the Great Depression. These interviews were recorded on audio cassettes, and they have been languishing unheard in the library for many years.

Downloadable Audios for iPods as well as MP3s

Downloadable audios have been available to all Cook Memorial Library patrons since February 2007. They are now available to patrons with iPods as well as MP3 players. There are 92 new MP3 audiobooks (for iPods and iPhones) as well as 2467 WMA audiobooks (for MP3 players) for patrons of all ages.
