On Saturday, February 3rd, the Annual Cabin Fever Book Fair is co-sponsored by the library and its Friends group. There will be many different activities from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, including a used book sale, a delicious bake sale, a book talk, and a make-your-own cards or Valentines project. In addition, a light lunch of soup and bread will be served from 11:00-12:15, and local musicians will be playing throughout the day.
The used book room, the Annex, will be open from 10:00 to 12:30, with a special sale on romance novels and paperback books. There are a variety of books at affordable prices, so see what treasures you might find by stopping in.
At 1:00 p.m, local author of Treehouse Chronicles, Peter Lewis, will be speaking about his amazing treehouse-building project. He built his own structure in the trees of Maine using belay ropes, creativity, and ingenuity. Come and hear how he accomplished a life-long dream.
