The Cook Memorial Library will hold a three-part parenting discussion series
beginning on Monday, March 30th at 7:00 pm. Facilitated by Sarah Wright, a
social worker at White Mountain Community Health Center, the first session
will focus on children and self esteem. To complement this discussion, the
library has copies available of the new book The Self-Esteem Trap: Raising
Confident and Compassionate Kids in an Age of Self-Importance by Polly
Young-Eisendrath.

This program is a great opportunity for parents and caregivers with children
of any age to get together and dialog on this and other parenting issues
that present challenges on a daily basis. Topics for future discussions will
come from participants.
