Bun Nickerson has lived in Chocorua for 60 years. He has many stories to tell about his years – working, skiing, and living here with his family. Here are a few of his stories, recorded as a podcast on the Barnstormers Variety Night on May 15th by Dennis Quinn. George Cleveland introduced and Chris Canfield interviewed Bun on the stage.
Because Bun passed away on June 29th, 2011, I thought I’d repost this podcast. Long live Bun in our hearts.

That’s my Uncle Bun! He told me he was going to ‘perform’ at the Barnstormers when I called him on his 91st birthday, two days prior to the event. I had heard that a number of my extended family had attended the performance, some driving from Connecticut. That gives you some idea of how much we love that guy! Since I live in Nova Scotia my attendance was out of the question, so I was overjoyed when I found that his interview had been recorded and put on this site. ‘Can’t thank you enough.
