On August 10th, Mango Groove entertained both library and theater-goers on the front lawn of the library. Many patrons then attended a presentation by Peggy Johnson on historic artists of Tamworth which was sponsored by the library and the historical society. Forty people came and enjoyed both refreshments and fine arts.
Our summer programs have been plentiful, varied and well attended. Who says that libraries are obsolete in the digital age?
Here is yesterday’s (June 16th) well-attended program, playing frisbee with Jeff Landesman. It doesn’t look it from the photo but there were a lot of people out there of all ages. Great fun to see such a lively, happy gathering behind the library.
