Did you know that we have 142 graphic novels in the library collections?

They are 741.5 in adult non-fiction, J 741.5 in Juvenile fiction and YA 741.5 in Young Adult which is the biggest collection of all.
We have graphic novels that are classics like Beowulf, Homer’s The Odyssey, Oscar Wilde’s The picture of Dorian Gray, and Shakespeare’s King Lear as well as comic classics like Superman, Batman and Spiderman. And Garfield, Calvin & Hobbes, Adventures of Tintin, The Far Side, and Charles Schultz’s Peanuts.

There are historical graphic novels like three by Art Speigelman: In the Shadow of No Towers (911), and Maus 1 & 2 (Holocaust). There are famous ones like Passionella and other Stories by Jules Feiffer, Persepolis 1 & 2 by Marjane Satrapi, Palomar by Gilbert Hernandez.
