On Friday, December 9 – Grace Hopper‘s 110th birthday – from 3:30-4:30 pm, we’re inviting people ages 4 to adult to participate in worldwide “Hour of Code” at Cook Library.
Come play a coding game – we’ll have several different ones, suitable for various ages, ready to go on the library’s computers, and at least one that requires no computer. Go home with a list of ways to continue learning about code.
The ‘Hour of Code™’ is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.
