A 5-week program for kids in grades 4, 5, 6. Meets Tuesdays from 3:45 to 5:00 pm, beginning March 7 through April 4.
Can you build a model car and power it with a mousetrap? How far can you make it go? Join other young engineers to design and build your own mousetrap powered car. Once you’ve built a car, make design modifications to make it roll faster and farther and then test it to see how well your design modifications work.
All participants will have an opportunity to race their cars at the 4-H Mousetrap Car Challenge on April 8th at the Meredith Community Center to see how it measures up against the cars of other young engineers.
Class is limited to 12, stop in or call the library to sign up, 323-8510.
