yoyo guy posterOn Saturday, August 5th at 11:00 am as part of the Tamworth Economic Commission’s 2nd annual Street Fair, the Cook Memorial Library is excited to present John Higby the YoYo Guy who will perform his comedy yo-yo show for all ages on the library’s front lawn. Immediately following the show, John Higby will lead a yo-yo tricks workshop. Both events are free and open to people of all ages.
John has performed his unique high-energy comedy yoyo show in 26 countries from New Zealand to Japan, holds the world yoyo champion title and 4 Guinness World Records.  He has been featured on David Letterman, Discovery Channel’s Time Warp, Comedy Central, The Guinness World Record Show, Fetch with Ruff Ruffman on PBS, and even has his own Topps trading card!  ESPN magazine coined him “Unsung Hero” of 2008.  The YoYo Guy is an interactive performance with yo-yos, unicycle, and a giant yoyo that John walks on!  Specializing in family shows, this show is great for all ages!
