At 1:00 pm today (Aug. 21), Cook Memorial Library will hold a “get ready for the eclipse” session at the library. We’ll make pinhole viewers, and talk about other cool ways to project an image of the partially eclipsed sun so you can get a good look at it safely, and probably get some interesting photos, too.
And, with billions and billions of thanks to Marc Stowbridge, we have a handful of eclipse glasses that we will not be giving away, but will share with each other as we watch the eclipse together in Tamworth Village, on the Village Green in front of the Tamworth History Center. We will bring our low-tech projection methods for viewing, too. Find us on the Green between 1:30 and 3:00 or so.
