On Wednesday, January 17th at 7:00 pm, Eugenie Francine will present a slide show of her fishing trip to the Kamchatka for steelhead and her March 2014 trip to the Seychelles for bonefish & giant trevall.
In September 2016 Eugenie Francine and her husband, Brian Noyes, traveled to Eastern Russia, to the Kamchatka peninsula as volunteer data collectors (anglers) in the Moscow State University and The Conservation Angler Kamchatka Steelhead Project expedition program. Catching steelhead was the primary goal so that data could be collected to study this protected sea run rainbow trout.
In March 2014, with the area just cleared for fishing once again after being closed for 5 years due to Somali Pirates, Eugenie and Brian traveled to Providence Atoll in the Seychelles in pursuit of epic large bonefish and supposed schools of marauding giant trevally.
Come see photos of these beautiful areas!
