Jay Rancourt will lead another Book Arts Workshop on Sunday, February 18th, from 1 to 4 pm at the library. For people ages 10 to 90, this workshop is limited to 12 participants so sign up early by stopping in or calling the library at 323-8510.
We will warm up by folding and cutting 5-6 quick instant books (AKA origami books) to take home as templates. These are easy enough for kids to make. Then we will make a pre-cut accordion book with covers and pockets to keep them in. Bring scissors, a bone folder, a cutting mat, metal straight edge, and an exacto knife, if you have them. Also bring color copies of photos, drawings, decorated papers, etc to create content with; I will bring stamps and stamp pads for quick content.
