It is with heavy hearts and gratitude that we remember Sharon Malenfant, who died on November 1st. Sharon was a reader, a writer, and a champion for libraries. She served on the Board of Trustees of the Cook Memorial Library from 2004 to 2013, and served as Trustee for the Chocorua Public Library before that. Sharon’s work as a Trustee is still evident at our library: in our clearly stated policies, in the 2010 strategic plan which served as a foundation for our current plan, and in her support for library staff and the value of their work.
