
On Wednesday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m., writer and climbing guide Michael Wejchert will give a slideshow talk, “Ten Years of Climbing and Expeditioning out of Northern New Hampshire.”
Wejchert is a writer and climber based in North Conway, New Hampshire. He guides for Cathedral Mountain Guides LLC, in between writing and trips to Newfoundland, Alaska, Patagonia, Peru, and the Canadian Rockies. His writing has appeared in “Alpinist,” “Ascent,” “Rock & Ice,” “Appalachia,” and the “New York Times.” In 2013, he won the Waterman Fund Essay Contest for a piece called “Epigoni, Revisited,” about a failed attempt to climb Mount Deborah in the Hayes Range of Alaska.
