Ben's character Arrow

AdventureQuest, a tabletop role-playing game for children and teens 10 to 14 years old, will be back for a second season in April thanks to the generosity of sponsors and individuals who contributed to a fundraiser held by season one participants. The second 5-episode season of AdventureQuest will meet on Tuesdays April 9, 23, 30, May 7 and 14 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Library. Enrollment is limited to 7 participants for each season.

AdventureQuest is led by Kevin Mahoney, Ed.D, an educator who developed this game over 25 years ago to teach kids to work together as a team and to develop communication and problem-solving skills while playing a game similar to Dungeons and Dragons. Each weekly episode connects together with the last episode to build a storyline in the course of a season, so participants should plan to attend all five meetings.

To register for season two of AdventureQuest, stop in or call the Cook Memorial Library, 93 Main Street, Tamworth, 603-323-8510. Because registration is limited, participants should plan on attending all weekly episodes.
