On Wednesday, July 17 at 12:00 noon, we’re hosting a livestream Grow with Google workshop on “Digital Skills for Everyday Tasks.” It will be a one-hour livestream session with a Google trainer who will teach how to use Google’s tools, including Gmail, Drive, and Calendar, in more productive and efficient ways.
Participants will learn how Google’s office productivity tools—including Gmail, Calendar, Drive and other apps—can boost productivity, tips and tricks for how to use them most efficiently, and creative ways to accomplish a variety of tasks for your professional and personal projects.
To register, go to: https://community.grow.google/s/event/a0r1E00000BhI2s
Participants are asked to bring their own wi-fi capable computers and Google account login, if they have one. A limited number of library computers will be available to borrow, please call ahead to reserve one at 603-323-8510.
Our library is now a Grow with Google partner, which means we can access training materials so we can host our own workshops using videos and handouts provided by Google. Some of the trainings that are available are:
- Get your business online (connect with customers with Google search and maps)
- Reach customers online (SEO)
- Using data to drive business growth (Google Analytics, engaging with customers online)
- Power your job search with Google tools (including some specific to military veterans)
If you are interested in any of these workshops, please contact Mary Cronin at the library.
