The Cook Memorial Library will host a performance by magician George Saterial on Saturday, August 3 at 11:00 a.m. on the lawn in front of the library. Geared for audiences ages 5 to 105, this fast-paced show combines George’s playful persona with magic, humor, storytelling and plenty of audience participation.
George Saterial has performed his unique style of magic on the “CBS Early Show”, at Universal Studios’ City Walk and Sesame Street’s “Fun to Be One” celebration, and in over 32 countries across six continents.
The Cook Memorial Library is able to offer the free performance by Magic by George thanks to the New Hampshire State Library’s Kids, Books and the Arts program, with funding provided by the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation, Children’s Librarians of New Hampshire, Cogswell Benevolent Trust. Kids, Books and the Arts program is supported in part by grants from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as funds administered by the New Hampshire State Library and provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
This performance is part of Tamworth’s 4th Annual Street Fair, organized by the Tamworth Economic Development Commission to celebrate and showcase the businesses and organizations of Tamworth.
