In September 2019, Nelson O’Bryan and June Aprille enjoyed a guided, 10 day safari in Zambia, visiting three different locations. On Wednesday, February 12 at 7:00 p.m., Nelson and June will share a slide/video talk about this trip of a lifetime.
Highlights included elephant families, crocodiles in a feeding frenzy in the Zambezi River, a lion pride, leopards, a pack of wild dogs hunting, and a hot air balloon ride over the Kafue plains. As with many safaris, birds were a major attraction, including in this trip, the colorful, migratory carmine bee-eaters. The presentation will take about 40-45 min, with time afterward for questions.
