On June 11, Governor Sununu updated “Stay-at-Home” to “Safer-at-Home” and included specific guidelines for reopening libraries. Our plan for the Cook Memorial Library through the end of June is to continue adding more times for curbside services and continue offering online programs. In addition to lending materials for pickup outside, we are now providing home delivery and document services (copying, faxing, printing, scanning). We will soon add outdoor seating and canopy tents for computer and wifi users behind the library.

Library staff is working on plans for when we will welcome the public back into the building. We do not yet have a date when that will happen. Please expect that things will be different. Appointments will be necessary and there will be limits on the number of people allowed into the building. Our staff is preparing by getting the necessary supplies and equipment in place, training, and rearranging the library to accommodate new guidelines for social distancing.

We continue to host online programs and we invite you to take part in our all-ages Summer Program, “Imagine Our Story!” Look for information about this in your mailbox.
