Are you considering homeschooling your elementary, middle or high school aged child? Would you like an opportunity to ask questions and get practical advice and support from experienced parents, and find sources of solidarity, social connection and cooperative group experiences for both your child and yourself?
Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth has created two informational opportunities to hear from experienced homeschooling parents. Both will be distanced, outdoor gatherings and masks will be required (we’ll have some on hand).
- Monday, August 10th at 7:00 p.m., on the back lawn of the Cook Memorial Library, Amy Carter and Richard Posner will host a discussion for parents considering homeschooling their students of Middle and High School age, and for those already active as home educators.
- Wednesday, August 12th at 7:00 p.m., experienced homeschooling parents Lisa Wilkinson and Suzy Kjellberg will host a similar discussion for parents considering or engaged in homeschooling their Elementary aged children.
We hope you’ll join us to ask questions, share your experiences, and find support as you consider your options come September.
