Cook Memorial Library is asking anyone who is interested to join a community conversation. In order to prepare for upcoming grant opportunities, and to help develop the next update of the library’s Strategic Plan. On Monday, May 3 at 5:30 PM, join Library Director Mary Cronin and Library Trustees Anne Chant and Betsy Loughran for a Zoom conversation. Join us online at http://bit.ly/CMLconvo.
These are the questions we’ll ask to start the conversation:
- What kinds of information were you (or people you know) missing that would have helped you during this past year?
- What do you think people, families, and our whole community will need to know, do, or learn as we come out of this pandemic?
We will also ask about your aspirations for yourself and our community. How can the library help you move toward making them a reality?
Join us for a community conversation 5/3
This seems like an interesting topic, and as a former trustee I am interested in attending and providing input if I am able to do so. I would like to say, though that the library staff have done a magnificent job in keeping us connected through information about events, zoom meetings and so on. As far as I’m concerned the proliferation of zoom meetings , whereby the elderly, home bound and people who don’t like to drive at night are able to fully participate. This alone has been a great blessing to come out of the Pandemic and I hope they continue when the Pandemic is behind us.
