All are invited to a rain Barrel Workshop on Saturday, June 12 at 2:00 PM. The workshop will meet in-person outside the Cook Memorial Library. Please register ahead of time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Using the newly installed rain barrels at the Cook Memorial Library as an example, Moselle Spiller, Outreach Coordinator for the Green Mountain Conservation Group, will give a 15-minute talk on the rain barrel installation and how it works and share some fun facts like how many gallons of water it captures from the roof. GMCG volunteer and architect Tim Otterbach will answer technical questions about the installation process. They will also demonstrate how to use a hose to connect rain barrel to watering equipment, and answer questions.
