This October, the Cook Memorial Library is participating in the Young Adult Library Services Association’s (YALSA) annual TeenTober. Developed by YALSA, this month-long event strives to raise awareness of the importance of year-round teen services and to connect teens to programs and information that will help them develop new skills and fuel their passions.

Cook Memorial Library is celebrating TeenTober by reconnecting with teens in Tamworth!

We want to hear from you! Come to a community conversation just for teens with Cook Memorial Library and Tamworth Recreation Department on Wednesday, October 20 at 5:30 PM behind the library (inside if raining). There will be pizza! What kinds of programs and activities are you wishing for? Please come share your thoughts, and invite your friends.

Teens are welcome to join the “Dawnland Voices” online reading group to learn about Indigenous Peoples in our area. Pick up a copy of Dawnland Voices and join us! Meetings are on October 6 and November 3 at 7:00 PM. Find more info and the registration link at https://tamworthlibrary.org/2021/09/dawnland-voices-reading-group-10-6-on-zoom/.
