Crafty Cats Quilt Project: We’re moving to the next stage of the project! Norma Grasse came up with this fun way for folks to come together to make something and then raffle it off as a benefit for our library. Twelve crafters have embroidered cats onto squares, Norma has pieced the squares into a quilt, the quilt has been basted with batting and backing, and put on a quilting frame.

Now, it’s time for hand quilting! We invite experienced quilters (or anyone with good needle skills and willingness to learn) to help on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings 10-1, until it is finished. There is a sign-up sheet in the downstairs meeting room next to the quilt. Once the quilt is finished, we’ll raffle it off.
