
Cook Memorial Library Trustees voted to adopt the new federal Juneteenth holiday as one of our library’s “closed” holidays earlier this year. Because Juneteenth will be held on June 19th, which is on a Sunday this year, we won’t need to close the library to observe this holiday. Next year, when Juneteenth is on a Monday, one of our open days, we will close to observe Juneteenth.
