Comics Workshop, Monday, July 17, 4:00-6:00 PM, for youth ages 9 and up.
Come create comics with award-winning cartoonist & graphic novelist Marek Bennett. Using only blank pages, pencils, ink, & four basic “building blocks” of stories, we’ll craft dynamic characters in rich settings, & bring them to life in comics panels, strips, & pages. We’ll also look at how artists use peer feedback to improve their work, and how to share our original mini-comics with the world. No experience needed; EVERYBODY can make comics! For more info about what to expect, see: www.MarekBennett.com.
