UPDATE: Postponed to Tuesday, October 17 due to cloudy forecast for Monday. Tuesday’s viewing is iffy, call before coming.

Telescope Observing Night, Monday, October 16, 6:30-8:00 PM on the Village Green in front of the Tamworth History Center. All ages welcome. (If clouds/rain, we’ll meet on Tuesday, October 17.)

Celebrate International Library Telescope Observing Week with the founder of the Library Telescope program, Marc Stowbridge, and us, the first library recipient of a Library Telescope, the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth!

We’ll use the library’s telescope and binoculars, along with some other (bigger) telescopes to see the craters on the Moon, the Galilean moons of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, and much, much more. All we need is a clear sky!
