Chris Clyne moved to Tamworth in 1987 and walks a half a mile to work. She served as a library trustee for three years until 1996. Next she worked as a substitute staff person, then as a circulation assistant. Former Library Director Jean Ulitz worked on the library history and genealogy collections with Chris for several years and now Chris oversees these collections with the help of several experienced volunteers.

Years ago, Jean Ulitz sent my cousin information and a photo of my ancestor, George A. Langley, who served in Company G of the 2nd Regiment of the US Sharpshooters. In that correspondence, she mentioned a booklet by Robert McLean entitled “Tamworth Civi War Soldiers”. I would like to know if there is a way to obtain a copy of that booklet. I recently spent 2 weeks in Gettysburg, found Company G listed on the High Water Mark Memorial, and have become very interested in finding out more about Company G.
    Thank you,
    Cheryl Shaw
