The Cook Library is a member of NH Downloadable Books, a consortium of New Hampshire libraries who purchase e-books, MP3 audiobooks, and digital magazines together, organized and administered by the NH State Library. Resident card holders of member libraries have access to thousands of titles with this service.

To use NH Downloadable Books with your Cook Memorial Library library card, you need to be a current resident or part-time resident with an unexpired library account. Those with non-resident library cards are encouraged to use their home library to access ebooks, MP3 audiobooks, and digital magazines.

NH Downloadable Books uses the online platform Overdrive, a digital lending system that provides apps that work with variety of devices.

Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet using the Libby app by OverDrive. You can also send and read your borrowed ebooks on your Kindle ereader. Learn more at overdrive.com/apps/libby/.
