How to sign up for a library card
Things you can borrow from the library:
- Books for all ages, large print books, magazines, audiobooks, DVD movies
- Portable DVD player, MP3 player
- Telescope, Binoculars, Kill-a-watt meter
- Museum and Park passes
- Assorted tech accessories: ask us, we may have it!
Things you can access online with your resident or part-time resident library card:
- Downloadable ebooks and audiobooks, and magazines
- Streaming video at Kanopy
- America’s News U.S. and regional newspapers
- Recommendations for readers, genealogy resources, encyclopedia
Things you can use at the library:
- Public computers with internet access
- All public computers have Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher). To use a computer with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign), please contact us prior to your visit to reserve a computer.
- Wireless internet access
- Copier/Printer – 15 cents per page black ink only, 50 cents per page for color printing
- Fax – $1.00 per fax
- Scanner – scan to your flash drive or email
Things you can do at the library:
- Attend a program, book group, story time – see our calendar for a list of upcoming events for all ages
- Use one of our meeting rooms for your group’s meeting
- View an art exhibit – featuring local artists, with a new exhibit every other month
- Read, research, relax – we have a number of cozy corners and workspaces
- Research local history and genealogy in the Ulitz Room
- Ask a reference question or request a title – our librarians are happy to help
- Get help with technology questions – one on one, by appointment
- Find tax forms
