This summer, adventure begins at the Cook Memorial Library! Our Summer Reading Program offers many ways for you to map your own adventures while experiencing the joy of reading.

Readers of all ages–as well as those who listen or read along–are invited to join our program.

To sign up, stop in the library beginning on Friday, June 14. Pick up an adventure log, and start recording your adventures beginning on June 24. When you visit the library this summer, bring your adventure log to the desk to be stamped, and get a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of our summer adventure prizes.

Our summer reading program will wrap up with a hula hoop party with popcorn and prizes on Saturday, August 17. The adventure continues the following week with an outdoor movie and a visit from The Caterpillar Lab on August 24!

New this year: ADVENTURE BACKPACKS!
Each backpack will be loaded with activities on a different theme. The backpacks were put together by:

  • Bearcamp Bikes
  • NH Mushroom Company
  • Tamworth Conservation Commission
  • Tamworth History Center
  • Tamworth Outing Club
  • Tamworth Recycling Project
