The following warrant article for the Cook Memorial Library’s operating budget will be on the warrant of the 2026 Tamworth Town Meeting on March 11:
“To see if the Town will raise and appropriate the sum of $312,161 for the Cook Memorial Library of which $44,168 is to come from the Library Fund, $18,764 to come from donations, $2,000 from library fees, $1,600 to come from grants and $245,629 to be raised through taxation, and such funds to be expended under the direction of the Board of Library Trustees.”
