If you use Libby on a phone or tablet, or your Kindle to check out ebooks, audiobooks, or magazines with your library card, or stream movies through Kanopy, beginning on October 5, 2026 you will be required to use a password, not just your library card number, to set up your account.
Along with your 14-digit library card number, the password you will use to sign in the Libby (NH Downloadable Books) or Kanopy is the one associated with your Cook Memorial Library online library account.
To check if your Cook Memorial Library password is active, or to reset or make a new password, go to https://cookmemorial.aspendiscovery.org/MyAccount/Home
If you need to reset your password, note that you must use the email associated with your library account. If you’re not sure what email you used for your library account, call (603-323-8510) or visit the library and speak to a library staff member.
Library staff is happy to help you with this; please contact us or stop in the library if you need help.
This change has been mandated by Overdrive, the company that hosts the NH Downloadable Books collection and Kanopy.
