Books for book clubs will be available to borrow ahead of time at the library. 

Wild Scientist Book Club for kids ages 7 and up, Monday, October 5, 4:00-5:00 PM: Join Amy and Kat from Tin Mountain to discuss The Superpower Field Guide to Beavers by Rachel Poliquin and then explore the amazing adaptations of beavers. 

Bibliomaniacs for kids ages 10 and up, Thursday, October 15 from 5:00-6:00 PM: Come talk about Rebecca Stead’s new book The Experiment, a twisty, fast paced read with strong characters that show up for each other.

Bookworms for kids ages 5 to 9, Monday, October 19th from 5:00-6:00 PM: Come talk about the book The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. This is a beloved tale of bravery, forgiveness and redemption where a brave little mouse refuses to cower and instead decides to live by the chivalrous code of knights. 

CML Adult Readers’ Club, Friday, October 23, 11:00 AM: This month we’ll discuss this year’s One Book One Valley book Spectacular Things. Next month’s book, The Seed Keeper, is available, too.
