Great news! We received a 2025-2025 Rural Library grant from Children’s Literacy Foundation! What does this mean? New children’s books for our collection, expanded programming, storytelling sessions with professional authors, book giveaways for local kids, and much more in the coming year.
Our first storytelling event is this Tuesday 6/24 when we will welcome children’s author Matt Forrest Esenwine to our library. If you have a child in Tamworth Recreation‘s Summer Enrichment Program, they will meet Matt and get to choose a a brand new book to keep, thanks to the Children’s Literacy Foundation.
