Join us on Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30 PM in our library’s meeting room to hear a story about telling stories and a long bicycle trip. Tamworth storyteller Andy Davis will tell the tale of his Second Annual Bicycle Storytelling Tour. During three weeks of July 2025, he cycled an 850 mile circuit through all six New England states, performing eighteen times. He’ll talk about the joy of recapturing the spirit of the itinerant bard, interesting adventures with navigation, route-finding surprises, the satisfaction of riding the same bike for 38 years, the ups and downs of different performance situations, and tell a short piece from his show.

Andy Davis got his start as a storyteller telling comic tales by candlelight in Mexican refugee camps 30 years ago. He has since broadened and refined his craft and has entertained audiences from Bamako to Seattle with his signature blend of infectious humor, sly wisdom, and a cheerfully subversive spirit. He lives with his wife in a little home-made house on Cleveland Hill Road. Find out more about his work at www.andydavisstoryteller.com.
