Hi everyone,
This year’s One Book One Valley regional community read is underway. Tomorrow evening (Oct. 1) we kick off with a fundraiser, a “community bake” at Flatbread Co. in North Conway. Come eat good pizza, meet some of the librarians and booksellers who make One Book One Valley happen, and support this program now in its 18th year. We have copies of this year’s book, “The Road to Dalton” by Shannon Bowring, available to borrow at the library, and meet to discuss the book on Friday, October 18 at 12 noon. The author will speak at the The Majestic Theater in Conway Village on Thurday, October 24 at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to this free event. For more info, see onebookonevalley.org.
