Swallowing Wellness, Fri 2/28, 1:00 PM: Tamworth Community Nurse Association invites the public to come to the Cook Memorial Library for an informational program on swallowing wellness. Keri Miloro, UNH Assistant Clinical Professor and Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in swallowing, will provide education about: the aging effects of swallowing, recognizing signs and symptoms of a swallow disorder, associated risks, and how to find help. “Big Night” crankie painting project, Sat 3/1, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM in the library’s meeting room: Join Chocorua Lake Conservancy, Cook Memorial Library, Green Mountain Conservation Group and the Yeomans’ Fund for the Arts as we create a crankie public service announcement about Big Night, salamanders, vernal pools, and ways we can help our local amphibians cross roads safely at this critical moment in their life cycle.
