This rainy week means time for gardening may be inconveniently unavailable. While waiting for drier weather, why not take up this month’s “reading adventurously” challenge to read a book about flowers? Notes from a Puzzle Collector, Wed 5/7 at 7:00 PM: Using photos and stories, Becca Boyden will cover jigsaw puzzle history, share stories of family puzzle cutters, and talk about the work of current hand-cut wooden puzzle makers.

Community Dancing for Young Children, Sat 5/10, 10:30 AM Welcoming children (ages 3+) with their caregivers to join hands, dance to live music and sing! No prior experience needed. All dances are taught and called. Jennifer McHone Villalobos, caller & fiddler, with musicians from the Trad Dance Band. This program series is funded by the Friends of Cook Memorial Library and The Yeoman’s Fund for the Arts.
