Both your library card number and password are required to login to NH Downloadable Books, Libby app, and Kanopy
If you use Libby on a phone or tablet, or your Kindle to check out ebooks, audiobooks, or magazines with your library card, or stream movies through Kanopy, beginning on October 5, 2026 you will be required to use a password, not just your library card number, to access your account on your device.
This change has been mandated by Overdrive, the company that hosts the NH Downloadable Books collection and Kanopy.
If you don’t remember your password or need to set up a new password in your library account, you may stop in the library to do this in person, or you may do this yourself online.
- Go to catalog.tamworthlibrary.org and choose the “Sign In” link.
- Enter your card number. If you forget your card number, contact us at the library.
- Enter your password. If you forget your password, or don’t have one, select the “Reset My Password” link. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password (sometimes referred to as “My PIN”). If you don’t have an email associated with your library account, or forget which email you used for your library account, contact us at the library.
