Four to five times a year, we hold reading club programs for kids. At these programs, we play word games, talk about books, eat pizza and have fun!
The next series of reading clubs:
- Bookworms for kids up to age 9, Monday, July 28 at 5:00 PM: Stop in to sign up and borrow a copy of Granny Torrelli Makes Soup by Sharon Creech to read ahead of time. Instead of pizza this time, we’ll make pasta!
- Bibliomaniacs for kids 9 and up, Monday, August 4 at 5:00 PM: Stop in to sign up and borrow a copy of Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier to read ahead of time.
Copies of the book can be picked up three weeks or so before the reading club meeting. Sign up at the library when you pick up your books. Email Amy Carter at amy@tamworthlibrary.org for more information or to be put on the email list.
