Earlier this summer, local youth with their families researched, created, and presented on-site tours of the Tamworth Town Pound, Ordination Rock, and the Tamworth Town House for a program cosponsored by our library and the Tamworth History Center. Thanks to grant funds from New Hampshire Humanities with additional support provided by Cogswell Benevolent Trust, we converted those presentations into on-site self-guided tours. Find a map and paper tour guide at the library or at the Tamworth History Center. The tours are presented in a series of lawn signs using words and pictures from the children’s presentations. Go take the tours at the Town Pound and Ordination Rock on Cleveland Hill Road and at the Tamworth Town House.
