Come refresh your summer TBR pile at a summer book sale on Saturday, August 1, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the library’s lower level meeting room. Books will be priced to sell, and all proceeds go to the Friends of Cook Memorial Library who fund library programs, special projects, and other things for our community of library lovers!
We welcome (and rely on!) your donations to our book sale. To make our volunteer book sorters and sale setter-uppers task easier, please follow these guidelines for donations:
- Books in good condition published from 2016 to present
- Kids’ books in excellent shape from this century
We cannot accept textbooks, multi-volume sets, music CDs, VHS or audio cassettes, magazines or catalogs.
DVDs and audiobook CDs are welcome in unscratched condition (please check).
We accept donations during library hours only. Please do not leave books or other items to donate outside (they get damp at night, and then they are ruined), and limit donations to two bags or boxes at a time. Thank you!
