My Life in 10 Stories: a life examination, first of ten sessions on Monday, September 14, 3:00-5:00 PM

Each month Nicole Maher, a certified psychiatric nurse, will lead a session on an insightful and empowering topic that will include such themes as self-determination and agency, self-care, family dynamics, recovering from trauma, forgiveness and healing, and other topics generated by group dialogue. Following the discussion, Louise Wrobleski, who has spent a lifetime nurturing the written word, will offer writing prompts and tips to encourage a personal reflection and narrative for a deeper understanding of experiences and pivotal moments in our lives. Collectively the 10 stories will connect into a coherent whole.

The group will meet on Mondays from 3:00-5:00 PM: Sept. 14 & 28; Oct. 19; Nov. 9; Dec. 14;  Feb. 8; Mar. 8; Apr. 12; May 10; Jun. 14

Participants are asked to commit to the entire 10 meetings. Space is limited to 12 participants. Stop in or call the library to sign up.
