2026 is the 20th One Book One Valley community read collaboration between 11 libraries and one local bookstore. This year’s book is Spectacular Things by Beck Dorey-Stein.
Our library has been participating in One Book One Valley since the beginning. This year there will be a new big event venue and format, including a time for readers to connect with each other over — what else — books!
Save the date: Sunday, November 1, 3:00pm at Pub on Page Hill, Tamworth
To help us be ready to welcome you on November 1, please register using the button below. There is no charge to attend, and there will be complimentary light bites and water, with a cash bar for fancier drinks.
See onebookonevalley.org for more information about the book and the author, and a listing of other libraries’ book discussion dates, programs that relate to the book, dine-to-donate fundraisers
The Cook Memorial Library’s reading club for adults will meet and discuss Spectacular Things at the library on Friday, October 23 at 11:00 AM. Borrow a copy of the book to read ahead of time and join us!
