Hi everyone,
Three cheers for the Friends of Cook Memorial Library who had a great turnout for their annual meeting this past Saturday with guest speaker Michael Tougias, author of “Extreme Survival.” Thank you to all who support and volunteer with the Friends of Cook Memorial Library, we couldn’t do this without you.

Here is what is happening at your library this week:

Mobile Library to Remick Acres, Mon 9/23, already done for today

Board games, Tuesdays, 5:00-8:00 PM

Furry Friends of New Hampshire, Wed 9/25 at 1:00 PM: Get up close to some touchable furs and bones of local New Hampshire animals- can you guess what they are? New Hampshire Conservation Corps Ranger Kendra will share some fun facts about our wild neighbors, as well as a few Native American stories about some of these creatures that have captured the imagination of storytellers for centuries. This is for all ages.

CML Book Group, Fri 9/27 at 12 noon: New day and time! No book to discuss this month, but an invitation to adult readers to come help plan our next year of book discussions. Bring a bag lunch, we’ll make coffee and tea. If it’s nice out, we can picnic outside behind the library.
